As GPS units and car navigation systems are becoming increasingly common in day-to-day life,
we see more and more examples of situations where people get into trouble for following them blindly.
Recent news reports, tell of Google Maps directing people down unsafe roads and
in the USA, roads that were in the middle of wildfires.
Like so many things in modern life - we still need some common sense skills to cope with what's happening around us.
The ability to find our way - or to get home safely, is one of these skills.
