You're an important role model for your child - if they see that exercising is important to you and that you actually enjoy keeping fit and looking good....then they will develop similar attittudes as they get older.

Why run streets?

Our events focus on the wonderful parks and reserves in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs. Detailed colour maps allow us to set more interesting courses - courses designed to challenge both the beginning navigator and the experienced orienteer.

Dads can help

Many youngsters start in the sport by running with Mum, Dad or an older sibling. As their skills develop, Dad steps back and lets them practise their map reading skills. In time, as they get fitter and their confidence grows, it's time to "fly solo". The mentor watches with pride as his once young pupil becomes a confident competitor.

Ideal for Scouts and Guides

We provide free entry to Scouts, Guides and the accompanying Leaders/Parents. Our coaches provide a short briefing and make sure the kids understand how to read the map and navigate from one point to another.
Joeys and Cubs must be accompanied by an adult. Scouts generally run in pairs.
Venturers and Rovers can run alone or travel in groups - as they wish.
